The Original Factory Designer Proof Surface Print Wallpaper Art Piece.

Own a fragment of history and help us carve the future of the Chateau de Lalande kitchen walls.

We are delighted to offer a strictly limited collection of surface-printed wallpaper Designers proofs, curated and redrawn by Michael Petherick. These aren’t just designer samples; they are the catalyst for Lalande's next great restoration project.

Every purchase directly funds the creation of bespoke, hand made block printing blocks. These blocks—based on historic wallpaper patterns found within the Chateau will be used to hand-print the new wallpaper for the Chateau de Lalande kitchen.

By purchasing a unique art piece, you are physically contributing to the revival of traditional craftsmanship in one of the Chateau's most beloved spaces.

Each full design repeat artwork showcases the rich texture and depth of traditional surface printing, a technique known for its "painted" feel and beautiful ink deposits.

  • Dimensions: 52cm x 52cm a full design repeat.
  • Design: Le Jardin des Bois, is based on a found wallpaper from Lalande and completely redrawn by Michael Petherick with meticulously attention to detail.
  • Palette: Available in a variety of curated colourways.
  • Rarity: Very limited quantities never to be repeated as the rollers have been destroyed. Once these art pieces are gone, they can not be reproduced.  Each cutting is personally signed by Michael.

"These designers proofs represent the bridge between the historic patterns we've discovered and the future of the kitchen walls. Your support allows us to keep these traditional hand blocked artisan methods alive and restore Lalande's walls to their former glory.” — Michael Petherick
